Privacy Policy
Effective: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pierce Strategic Advisors, LLC (“Pierce Strategic Advisors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit piercestrategicadvisors.com (the “Site”) or inquire about an engagement.
We respect your privacy. The principle behind this policy is simple: we collect only what we need to evaluate fit and serve clients well, we do not sell or rent your information, and we describe our practices honestly rather than aspirationally.
1. Who We Are
Pierce Strategic Advisors, LLC is a South Carolina limited liability company operating from Greenville, South Carolina. The practice is operated solely by Martin Pierce.
Contact: martin@piercestrategicadvisors.com
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you submit the inquiry form on the Site, we collect:
- Identifying information: your name and email address
- Business information: the name of your company or business, and your approximate annual revenue range
- Engagement interest: which of our services you are exploring (fractional executive, coaching, board & advisory, exit or succession, or undecided)
- Free-text message: whatever you write in the “What’s on your mind?” field
If you correspond with us by email after submitting an inquiry, we will retain that correspondence.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We may use privacy-focused website analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Site, and general information like approximate region, browser, and device type. Any analytics service we use is limited to cookieless tools that collect aggregate, non-identifying data. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking technologies, and we do not build advertising profiles of individual visitors or sell any visitor data.
Our website is hosted by Vercel. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel automatically maintains standard server logs — which may include IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested — for security, performance, and operational purposes. Vercel also provides a built-in, privacy-focused analytics feature that, where enabled, measures aggregate site traffic without cookies and without collecting personally identifiable information. Vercel processes this data under its own privacy terms.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
When you submit the inquiry form, the form data is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service that delivers your submission to our email inbox. Formspree maintains its own privacy practices, which are governed by its own privacy policy.
We do not currently use a customer relationship management (CRM) platform, marketing automation system, or third-party sales database. If we begin using such tools in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect that change.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Evaluate whether there is a meaningful fit between your situation and the work we do
- Respond to your inquiry
- Schedule and prepare for an introductory conversation, if one is arranged
- Conduct the engagement work you retain us for, if you choose to engage
- Communicate with you about the practice, including occasional follow-up if you inquired but did not engage
- Maintain records of professional communications and engagement decisions
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations
We may, in the future, send periodic email communications (such as a newsletter or thoughtful follow-up sequences) to inquirers and clients who have provided their email address. If we begin doing so, every such communication will include a clear unsubscribe option, and unsubscribing will not affect your ability to engage with us in any other way.
4. Recording of Calls and Sessions
Introductory conversations, advisory sessions, and other engagement calls may be recorded for Martin’s note-taking purposes only. We use Jamie AI, a privacy-focused meeting transcription service, to produce structured notes from these recordings. South Carolina is a one-party consent state, but as a matter of practice we always disclose recording in advance and proceed only with your consent.
Recordings and transcripts are:
- Used solely for Martin’s preparation and follow-up
- Not shared with third parties
- Not used for marketing, content, training, or testimonials
- Retained for ninety (90) days, then deleted
If you prefer that a particular call not be recorded, you may say so before the call and we will conduct it without recording.
Coaching engagements delivered under The Commanding Growth Program brand are governed by the separate Privacy Policy at commandinggrowth.com, which contains its own recording provisions.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate the practice (such as Vercel for website hosting, Formspree for form processing, Jamie AI for meeting transcription, and our email service provider). These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and may use the information only to provide services to us.
- With professional advisors (such as our attorney or accountant) when reasonably necessary to operate the practice
- If required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
- To protect our legal rights or the safety of others, where we have a good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary
- In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of the practice or its assets, in which case the recipient would be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy
We do not share your information with any third party for that party’s own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain different categories of information for different periods, based on the purpose for which it was collected:
- Recordings and transcripts of calls: 90 days, then deleted
- Inquiry data and correspondence from non-engaged prospects: up to two years from the date of last contact, after which we will delete on request or as part of routine cleanup
- Records of active and former client engagements: for the duration of the engagement and for seven years thereafter, consistent with professional and tax recordkeeping obligations
- Aggregate, non-identifying analytics data: indefinitely
You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing martin@piercestrategicadvisors.com. We will honor reasonable requests subject to our recordkeeping obligations.
7. How We Protect Information
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information you provide. These measures include limiting access to information to Martin Pierce only, using reputable service providers with their own security practices, and not retaining information longer than necessary.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is perfectly secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have specific rights under state privacy laws (including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and similar state laws). These rights may include:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you
- The right to request a copy of that information
- The right to request correction of inaccurate information
- The right to request deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not engage in either)
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email martin@piercestrategicadvisors.com with a clear description of your request. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law.
9. Geographic Scope
This Site is operated from the United States and is intended for residents of the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that any information you submit will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Children’s Privacy
This Site is intended for adult business owners, executives, and other decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete that information promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this policy. Material changes — such as the introduction of new categories of data collection or new third-party services — will be communicated by email to active clients and inquirers in our records, where reasonable. The most current version of this policy will always be available at the Site’s privacy page.
